We have chosen to support the Eden Projects in Madagascar. In response to the large-scale loss of mangroves and upland forests in Madagascar, Eden Reforestation Projects have planted over 16 million mangrove and trees in northwest Madagascar. 

Our contribution goes far beyond planting trees and alleviating extreme poverty in the region. We are also helping restore wildlife habitats in Madagascar. When areas are deforested, wildlife are forced to relocate and often face extinction. Eden is taking action to protect and restore natural habitats by employing thousands of people living in extreme poverty to produce, plant, and guard to maturity millions of trees every month across Madagascar.
