Sind die Matten sicher?
Sind die Matten sicher?
Absolut! Unsere Matten übertreffen die US- und EU-Sicherheitsstandards und enthalten keine Schwermetalle, Blei, Formamid oder Phthalate. Sie sind:

Sind die Spielmatten für Fußbodenheizung geeignet?
Ja, alle unsere Spielmatten können mit Fußbodenheizung verwendet werden. Bitte lege deine Spielmatte auf eine Filzunterlage, wenn du sie mit Fußbodenheizung benutzt.
Können die Spielmatten draußen verwendet werden?
Nein, wir empfehlen nicht, Puzzle-Spielmatten im Freien zu verwenden.
Können die Spielmatten auf Teppich verwendet werden?
Wir empfehlen nicht, unsere Puzzle-Spielmatten auf mittelhohem bis hohem Teppichflor zu verwenden.
Kann ich einzelne Kacheln kaufen?
Momentan bieten wir das nicht an. Du kannst jedoch eine komplette Matte kaufen, die 6 Kacheln (Premium) oder 9 Kacheln (Classic) enthält.
Wie pflege ich meine Spielmatte richtig?
• Verschüttetes sofort mit einem trockenen Tuch aufwischen. Längerer Kontakt mit Wasser kann die Matte beschädigen.
• Reinige die Matte mit mildem Seifenwasser. Vor der Benutzung vollständig trocknen lassen.
• Vermeide scharfe oder scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
• Nicht für Haustiere geeignet.
• Längerer Gebrauch von schweren Möbeln oder Fitnessgeräten kann dauerhafte Abdrücke in der Matte hinterlassen.
• Vermeide, dass Wasser oder Feuchtigkeit unter der Matte eingeschlossen wird. Achte beim Reinigen des Bodens darauf, dass dieser vollständig sauber und trocken ist, bevor du die Matte wieder hinlegst.
• Vor der ersten Benutzung reinigen.
• Nicht für den Außeneinsatz geeignet – direkte Sonneneinstrahlung vermeiden.
HOW DO I CARE FOR AND STORE MY PLAYMAT?
- Wipe spills right away with a dry cloth.
- Clean with mild soap and water, then dry completely.
- Avoid harsh cleaners, bleach, or chemical sprays.
- Keep pets off to prevent scratches or punctures.
- Don’t place heavy furniture or gym gear on it.
- Let floors dry before placing the mat back to prevent moisture damage.
- For indoor use only; avoid sunlight or outdoor exposure.
- Clean before first use.
Storage & Maintenance
- Disassemble tiles when not in use and store flat in a cool, dry spot.
- Keep away from sunlight and extreme heat.
- Make sure both floor and mat are fully dry before reassembling.
- Check for wear regularly and replace damaged tiles for safety.

ARE THE MINI MAVENS SAFE?

The outer layer is crafted from 100% organic cotton, while the inner lining is coated with BIONIC-FINISH® ECO, a fluorine-free, water-repellent treatment that’s safe for babies and the environment.

CAN THE MINI MAVENS BE USED OUTDOORS?
Yes, the Mini Maven is designed for use at home or on the go, making it perfect for diaper changes both indoors and outdoors.
The BIONIC-FINISH® ECO water-repellent coating helps protect against light moisture, making it suitable for use in places like parks, cafés, or travel changing areas.
However, it’s best to avoid placing the pad on wet, rough, or dirty surfaces and to store it indoors when not in use. Prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or harsh outdoor conditions may reduce the lifespan of the product.

To keep your Mini Maven looking beautiful and performing its best, follow these simple care and storage tips:

- Air dry flat, do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.

ARE RETURNS FREE?
We’re happy to accept returns! For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.If you’re returning an item because it’s faulty or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping.At this time, we’re not able to provide prepaid return labels.
DO YOU OFFER EXCHANGES?
We’re happy to offer exchanges within 100 days of purchase for items that are unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. For change-of-mind exchanges, the customer covers return shipping. If the product is faulty or incorrect, we’ll handle all costs.
Please allow up to 7 business days for processing.
HOW DO FREE TILE REPLACEMENTS WORK?
We offer free tile replacements under our two-year manufacturer’s warranty for products with a verified manufacturing defect.
To start a warranty claim, please email hello@toddlekind.com with the following details:
- Your order number
- The batch ID (found on the underside of your playmat)
- Photos clearly showing the defect
Once we’ve reviewed and approved your claim, we’ll ship your replacement tile(s) free of charge.
Please note that this warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper care.

- Avoid direct sunlight or outdoor use. UV exposure can cause fading or color changes.
Cotton Products
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using mild detergent.
- We recommend air dry only for most products. Do not bleach, or dry clean.
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
- Wash before first use for best softness and hygiene.

A two-year legal guarantee (required by EU law) covering defects in materials or workmanship.
Our Toddlekind manufacturer’s warranty, which matches the same two-year term and offers additional support.

This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

I HAVE INCORRECT INFORMATION ON MY SHIPPING ADDRESS

Toddlekind cannot be held responsible for orders that fail to arrive due to incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided at the time of purchase.

MY ORDER DIDN’T ARRIVE.
If an order is returned to us as undeliverable (for example, due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to pick up from a carrier facility), the customer will be responsible for any reshipping fees.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you prefer a refund instead of reshipment, the refund will be issued minus the original shipping cost once the package is received back at our warehouse.
Once a package has been marked as “Delivered” by the carrier, ownership and responsibility transfer to the customer.
Toddlekind is not liable for lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation.
If you believe your package was stolen or delivered incorrectly, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.

Common Questions
DO TODDLEKIND PLAYMATS SMELL AT FIRST?
A slight scent may be noticeable when you first unpack your playmat. This is normal and comes from the manufacturing process.
Simply air out the mat for 24-48 hours, and any light odor will naturally disappear.
Rest assured, the scent is completely harmless and not caused by chemicals. All Toddlekind mats are made from non-toxic, safety-tested materials that meet strict U.S. and European safety standards.
ARE YOUR PLAYMATS PET-CONSCIOUS?
Our playmats are durable; however, sharp claws can scratch or puncture the surface, so we recommend supervision if pets will be on the mat.
For homes with pets, we suggest our Wander Collection or Tumble Mats, which feature more durable, pet-conscious materials designed to better withstand everyday wear and tear.
CAN I PLACE FURNITURE ON THE PLAYMATS?
We don’t recommend placing heavy furniture or items with sharp legs directly on your Haven or Classic playmat, as this may cause dents or damage.
If furniture must be placed on the mat, use protective pads or coasters under the legs to help distribute the weight evenly.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS FIRE-RETARDANT?
No, Toddlekind mats are not treated with chemical flame retardants, as these substances can be harmful to children and the environment.
For safety, always keep your playmat away from open flames, heaters, and other heat sources, and never use it near fireplaces or stoves.
CAN I COMBINE DIFFERENT PLAYMAT STYLES?
No, our Haven and Classic playmats are designed with different interlocking systems and cannot be connected or mixed together.
