Most nurseries get decorated around everything except the floor. The crib gets chosen first, then the glider, then the art on the walls — and the mat, if it's thought about at all, gets picked last, for practicality alone. This is a guide to treating it like the design element it actually is.
The living room

Linear
Linear Linen's warm, undyed tone sits comfortably against nearly any wood floor — light oak, walnut, even a cooler gray-toned engineered floor won't fight it. If the room already leans warm (terracotta, rust, brass hardware), Linear Putty pulls the same family in a slightly deeper direction without introducing a new undertone to balance.

Tulum
Tulum Bone reads more textural than Linear up close — a good choice for a living room that's otherwise fairly plain, since it adds visual interest without adding color. Pairs easily with the woven, natural-fiber furniture (rattan, jute, unfinished wood) that shows up often in the rooms customers tag.

Deco
Deco's palette runs a shade cooler than Linear or Tulum — Ecru especially — which makes it the family to reach for in a room with a lot of warm wood already in it, where another warm tone would flatten the contrast rather than add to it.

The nursery
A nursery is where most people feel comfortable going bolder than they would in a living room — it's a room built around one child's world, not a shared space everyone has to agree on. Parisa Pearl Blue's print does the work a solid color can't: it reads as considered rather than themed, which is the actual line between a nursery that looks curated and one that looks like a set.

Parisa Millet carries the same print logic in a warmer tone, for
anyone drawn to it.

Small space styling
In a smaller room, the mat is doing double duty — it's the floor, and it's often the biggest single
colored surface in the room. A neutral choice keeps a shared or
multi-use room from feeling busier than it already is; a patterned print works too, but
commits the room to that print more visibly than it would in a larger space with more
surfaces to balance it against.
