2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following types of personal data:
Order information: name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email, and payment details.
Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
Marketing preferences: your opt-in choices for newsletters or SMS updates.
Communication history: messages or feedback sent to our customer-service team.

4. Data Retention
We store your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated above:
Order and invoice data are retained for 10 years under German tax law.
Marketing data are deleted 24 months after your last interaction or upon withdrawal of consent.
Technical logs and analytics data are kept no longer than 26 months.
After these periods, data are securely deleted or anonymized.
5. Sharing and International Transfers
We share personal data only as needed to provide our services:
Shopify Inc.: website hosting and e-commerce platform
Klarna Bank AB: payment services and credit assessments
Wayflyer Ltd.: financing and analytics
Shipping carriers: order delivery
Email and SMS partners such as Klaviyo and Yotpo: marketing communications
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or EU adequacy decisions approved by the European Commission.
We also use Shopify’s Enhanced Services, which are part of Shopify Network Intelligence. This means that certain data about your interactions with our store may be combined with data from interactions with other merchants and with Shopify, in order to improve fraud prevention, enhance analytics, and support advertising and product recommendations. Shopify processes this information as an independent controller when providing these Enhanced Services. When Shopify provides Enhanced Services, data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland. Shopify implements safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to protect these transfers.

SMS Data and How It Is Used
If you opt in to receive SMS messages, we collect and store your mobile phone number, message delivery status, and engagement data (such as whether you opened or clicked a message). SMS messages are sent through our marketing partners, such as Klaviyo or Yotpo, and your information is shared with them solely for the purpose of sending these messages. We do not sell SMS data. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us at hello@toddlekind.com.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 years of age without parental consent.
If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business developments.
The latest version will always be posted on our website with the effective date.
